Automotive MOT Tester & Vehicle Technician

Location: Hedge End / Southampton Area

Salary: Up to £40,000 per year (Fixed basic)

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Performing official Class 4 MOT tests to strict DVSA standards alongside pre‑MOT inspections

  • Diagnosing faults accurately and performing the necessary repairs and adjustments for MOT compliance
  • Recording inspection results thoroughly and maintaining high standards of workshop safety
  • Interacting with customers where needed to provide clear, friendly, and solution‑focused feedback

  • MOT Badge: Active and valid DVSA MOT Testing Licence (Essential)
  • Experience: Proven workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester
