What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out routine servicing, multi-point safety inspections, and general maintenance across a diverse mix of makes and models.
- Executing core mechanical repairs: timing belts/chains, clutches, brakes, suspension setups, and steering components.
- Utilizing modern diagnostic equipment (including Bosch software) for fault-finding and service resets.
- Collaborating with a friendly front-of-house team to keep workflow smooth and transparent.
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served garage experience).
- Proven hands-on workshop experience inside a professional garage or dealership.
- Honest, detail-focused mindset with a commitment to fixed-right-first-time quality.
- Valid full UK driving licence.
- (An active DVSA MOT Tester license is a great bonus, but not essential).
