What You’ll Be Doing
- Mornings: Conducting Class 4 MOT tests to DVSA standards, accurately logging reports and safety recommendations.
- Afternoons: Carrying out routine vehicle servicing, maintenance inspections, and required MOT failure repair work (brakes, suspension, steering, light mechanicals).
- Communicating clearly with front-of-house service staff regarding test results and recommended repairs.
- Maintaining clean bay standards, workshop safety, and right-first-time quality control.
What We’re Looking For
- Active DVSA MOT Tester Smart Card / License (Class 4).
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served workshop experience).
- Proven hands-on experience inside a professional workshop or MOT testing station.
- Punctual, detail-focused mindset with a commitment to vehicle safety and testing integrity.
- Valid full UK driving licence.
