The Role
As an
MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician , you will
- Carry out
- Class 4 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards
- Complete MOT documentation accurately and efficiently
- Identify vehicle defects, safety issues and advisory items
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs where qualified
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete vehicle health checks and inspections
- Maintain high workshop standards and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
- Deliver excellent customer service and quality workmanship
About You
To be successful, you'll ideally have
- A valid
- Class 4 MOT Tester Licence
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent preferred)
- Previous experience as an
- MOT Tester ,
- Vehicle Technician ,
- Automotive Technician ,
- Car Mechanic , or
- Service Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Good knowledge of modern vehicle systems
- Full UK driving licence
- A professional attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
