We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our independent service centre team in Haslemere. We offer a competitive £37,500–£42,500 basic salary, permanent Monday-to-Friday hours (strictly no weekends), and full company funding to obtain both your MOT Tester licence and F-Gas certification if you are not already qualified.

Your Role
As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Haslemere workshop, you will:
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing, scheduled maintenance, and safety inspections across a diverse range of vehicles.
- Tackle all aspects of mechanical repairs, ranging efficiently from light servicing to heavy component replacements (clutches, cambelts, suspension, etc.).
- Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to systematically troubleshoot, isolate, and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Complete digital job cards accurately and collaborate with the workshop team to maintain a smooth daily workflow.
What You Need
- Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair with a proven track record handling light servicing through to heavy mechanical work.
- Licensing & Certification: Full UK driving licence is essential. Active MOT Tester or F-Gas certification is a bonus, but full company funding is provided to acquire both.
- Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools for daily workshop repair tasks. Strong problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, versatility, and a positive team-player attitude.
