The Role and Responsibilities
You will be the go-to specialist for complex issues on the workshop floor, with responsibilities including:
- Advanced Fault-Finding: Diagnosing petrol, diesel, hybrid, and EV vehicles.
- Systems Analysis: Interpreting CAN bus faults, sensor/actuator data, and scope readings.
- Electrical Mastery: Navigating wiring diagrams and resolving module communication errors.
- Complex Repairs: Carrying out high-level electrical and mechanical fixes after a successful diagnosis.
- Technical Leadership: Supporting the wider team with guidance on particularly difficult jobs.
- Accuracy: Maintaining high standards of efficiency while ensuring right-first-time results.
