Your Role
As a vital Vehicle Technician / VAG Specialist in our Guildford workshop, you will:
- Perform specialized routine servicing, timing chains, cambelts, and preventative maintenance to strict manufacturer guidelines.
- Utilize factory-level online diagnostic systems to systematically troubleshoot, isolate, and repair complex electrical and mechanical faults.
- Execute major mechanical repairs, including advanced braking, suspension setups, and drivetrain overhauls.
- Support performance tuning projects and remapping work as part of an authorized performance specialist team.
What You Need
Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds (or equivalent time-served experience) with strong hands‑on familiarity with VAG group platforms (VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda). F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools for daily workshop repair tasks.
