Your Role
As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Gloucester workshop, you will:
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing, braking systems, steering, suspension, and mechanical repairs.
- Utilize up-to-date diagnostic tools to efficiently troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical faults as a Diagnostic Specialist.
- Work alongside Senior Technicians to tackle high-level fault-finding, deep engine work, and safety inspections.
- Deliver high-quality "first-time fix" results across a wide variety of vehicle makes and models.
What You Need
Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / equivalent) with a minimum of 18 months hands-on workshop experience. Time-served technicians with strong technical capability are also strongly encouraged to apply. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools to manage daily repair and diagnostic tasks effectively. Reliable work ethic, strong attention to detail, and a genuine desire to progress your technical skills.
