We are seeking a skilled MOT Tester / Workshop Technician to join our busy, highly respected independent vehicle service centre. Your Role
As a core MOT Tester / Workshop Technician on our team, you will:
- Conduct Class 4, 5L & 7 MOT tests in full accordance with DVSA legal and safety standards.
- Perform specialized fleet inspections, including taxi compliance checks, VSI checks, and minibus safety inspections (full training provided).
- Identify necessary repairs and provide clear, accurate testing reports to the service team.
- Maintain compliance with all workshop health and safety regulations while keeping testing bays clean and organized.
- Collaborate closely with workshop technicians to ensure efficient workflow and high customer satisfaction.
What You Need
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active, valid DVSA MOT Tester licence (Class 4 & 7 essential; Class 5 capability is a major advantage).
- Proven track record as an MOT Tester or Technician within a professional workshop setting.
- Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential.
