We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our independent workshop team in Faringdon. Your Role
As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Faringdon workshop, you will:
- Perform scheduled servicing, routine maintenance, and safety inspections across various vehicle makes and models.
- Execute mechanical repairs, component replacements, and major work on suspension, steering, and braking systems.
- Apply diagnostic tools to identify, isolate, and repair electrical and mechanical faults cleanly.
- Maintain precise job records and keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines.
What You Need
Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair with a solid background in fault-finding and mechanical repair. F-Gas certification is preferred.
Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools for daily workshop repair tasks.
