About The Role
As a skilled Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, you’ll be hands‑on across all aspects of vehicle maintenance, servicing, diagnostics, and repairs. You’ll be part of a busy, knowledgeable team, working on both everyday cars and high‑performance vehicles, ensuring everything meets main‑dealer‑level standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
- Diagnostics for engine, electrical, and sensor issues
- Gearbox repairs, head gasket work, and general mechanical troubleshooting
- Support MOT testing (qualification preferred)
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with colleagues on work progress
What We’re Looking For
- Level 2 / Level 3 qualified (Level 3 preferred)
- 5+ years’ experience in a busy automotive workshop
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
- Experienced with gearbox repairs, head gaskets, and general mechanical work
- MOT licence preferred (or willingness to train)
- F-Gas certification advantageous
- Professional, reliable, and a positive team player
- Full UK driving licence
