The Opportunity – Prestige Automotive Technician
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Mechanic to join our busy and well-equipped workshop in Swindon. This position offers exposure to varied and technically challenging work across prestige, performance, and fleet vehicles. It is ideal for a technician who enjoys fault-finding, problem-solving, and delivering high-level mechanical and electrical repairs.
Core Responsibilities
- Carry out advanced vehicle diagnostics across engine, gearbox, electrical and mechanical systems
- Complete servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards
- Perform mechanical repairs including suspension, braking systems and drivetrain components
- Conduct scheduled inspections across a small managed fleet
- Utilise specialist diagnostic platforms and manufacturer-level software
- Undertake air conditioning servicing, tyre fitting, and general workshop repairs
- Accurately complete service records and digital job cards
- Work collaboratively to maintain workshop productivity and quality standards
