About The Business
For over six decades, we have been a cornerstone of the Dorking automotive community. We have grown from a small family business into a premier, second-generation independent specialist, operating out of a state-of-the-art facility that rivals any main dealer. Despite our growth, our core values remain completely unchanged: honesty, technical excellence, and an absolute commitment to our staff. We provide the professional standards and high-end kit of a main dealer without the corporate headaches, micro-management, and "number-crunching" pressure. We value your talent, reward your results, and ensure you're home for dinner every night.
The Perks
- £35k – £45k Secure Base: A highly competitive, stable basic salary package paired with rewarding performance bonuses.
- Reclaim Your Weekends: Focused entirely on a healthy work-life balance with a strict Monday to Friday schedule—absolutely no weekends.

Why This Position Is Different
- Stop Being a Corporate Cog: Tired of the relentless corporate grind? Move into a high-performing, quality-driven environment where you are treated like a professional human being rather than a statistic on a spreadsheet.
- Specialist Prestige with Variety: While we are renowned as VAG Specialists (VW, Audi, SEAT, CUPRA, Škoda), we handle a fantastic mix of all vehicle brands. You don’t need main dealer VAG experience to apply—we value all-round mechanical talent and give you the kit to excel.
- Pace Over Pressure: We value accuracy, craftsmanship, and a high "first-time fix" rate over rushing cars through the doors to hit arbitrary volume targets.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out complex servicing, mechanical repairs, and maintenance across the VW Group range and a wide variety of other makes.
- Utilizing specialist dealer-level diagnostic systems to identify, fault-find, and resolve complex automotive issues.
- Taking real pride in your dedicated workshop bay, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
