Your Role
- Diagnostics & Rectification: Use modern diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex vehicle and electrical faults accurately.
- Specialist Repairs: Carry out routine servicing, complex mechanical maintenance, suspension work, and safety‑critical repairs to strict trade standards.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and routine checks to ensure every vehicle leaves the workshop in peak condition.
- Quality Assurance: Road‑test vehicles and utilise diagnostic tools after work is completed to guarantee safety and quality.
- Documentation: Accurately complete digital job cards and technical descriptions of faults found or repairs completed.
What You Need
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent City & Guilds / time‑served experience).
- Experience: Proven track record as a confident Vehicle Technician or Mechanic in a professional workshop setting.
- Attributes: Practical, reliable, and highly motivated to solve mechanical problems independently with strong attention to detail.
