- Salary Range: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + individual efficiency bonus
- Working Schedule: Monday to Friday schedule + Saturdays on a fair team rota basis

Core Responsibilities
- Carry out root-cause diagnostic isolation across complex mechanical, software, and CAN-bus electrical systems
- Execute major powertrain repairs, including timing chain replacements, clutch overhauls, gearbox builds, and head gaskets
- Perform routine servicing, vehicle health checks (VHC), and pre-MOT evaluations across diverse makes and models
- Write precise technical notes on digital job sheets and advise front-of-house staff on required repair procedures
- Maintain high right-first-time quality control while maintaining a safe, organized bay
Candidate Profile
- Technical Expertise: Experienced mechanic with deep diagnostic fault-finding ability and heavy mechanical repair confidence
- Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ / IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or time-served equivalent)
- MOT Status: Holding a valid MOT Tester licence is a major plus and increases starting salary potential, but is not essential to apply
- Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence
