The Role
We are looking for a confident, all-round Vehicle Technician to handle a variety of mechanical and electrical tasks. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Diagnostics: Identifying complex mechanical and electrical faults using modern equipment.
- Repairs: Handling everything from routine servicing to engine and gearbox work.
- Quality Control: Ensuring all work meets strict manufacturer standards and safety protocols.
- MOTs: Carrying out vehicle health checks and MOT testing (if qualified).
About You
To be successful in this Automotive Technician role, you should have:
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Experience: Proven track record in a workshop environment; diagnostic skills are essential.
- Licence: A valid, full UK Driving Licence.
- Attributes: High attention to detail and a pride in your "first-time fix" rate.
- Bonus Points: An active MOT Smart Card and previous main dealer experience are a plus, but not essential as training is provided.
