Your Role
As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Clevedon workshop, you will:
- Carry out vehicle servicing, routine maintenance, safety inspections, and mechanical repairs to strict manufacturer standards.
- Inspect and assess core systems, including brakes, suspension, steering, exhausts, and lighting.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately using modern diagnostic software and equipment.
- Work with wet-belt engines and modern powertrains (advantageous but not essential).
- Maintain precise job cards and documentation while adhering strictly to workshop health and safety guidelines.
What You Need
Qualifications & Experience: NVQ / IMI Level 2 or Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification) with proven hands-on experience in vehicle diagnosis and servicing.
Licensing & Eligibility: Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are essential.
Key Strengths: Strong mechanical fault-finding ability, attention to detail, reliability, and a professional, quality-focused mindset.
