Your Role
As a vital Vehicle Technician / Mechanic in our Clevedon workshop, you will:
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing, multi-point inspections, and comprehensive maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Diagnose, assess, and repair fundamental components, including brakes, suspension, steering, and exhaust systems.
- Execute fault-finding using modern diagnostic equipment to resolve complex mechanical issues.
- Perform precise mechanical repairs (experience with wet-belt engines is a plus!) while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
What You Need
Qualifications & Experience: Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance with proven experience in a garage or dealership setting. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred, but not essential.
Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools for daily workshop repair tasks.
Key Strengths: Strong mechanical foundation, solid attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently to high standards.
