What You’ll Be Doing

As a vital, high-performance Vehicle Technician / Service Mechanic in our Chippenham main dealer workshop, you will:

  • Perform comprehensive vehicle servicing, scheduled maintenance, and multi-point safety inspections across a diverse range of premier automotive brands.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic software and master tech equipment for complex electrical and mechanical fault-finding.
  • Execute high-level mechanical repairs, system overhauls, and preventative maintenance, ensuring "right first time" results.
  • Conduct precise vehicle road tests, diagnose running faults, and maintain accurate digital job cards and warranty documentation.
  • Master modern vehicle electronics and get hands-on with cutting-edge electric vehicle (EV) and hybrid systems in a clean, organized bay.

What We Need

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent City & Guilds / IMI certifications). An active MOT tester license is a major plus.
  • Experience: Proven track record as a Workshop Technician, Car Mechanic, or Dealership Service Specialist.
