Your Role
As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Chippenham workshop, you will:
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing, safety inspections, and general mechanical repairs to strict brand standards.
- Use up-to-date diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach to troubleshoot technical, electrical, and mechanical faults.
- Accurately complete digital job cards and service reports to maintain clear repair records.
- Collaborate with a skilled team to keep the workshop operating smoothly in a clean, modern setting.
What You Need
Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance with proven workshop experience (Kia experience is a plus, but all brand backgrounds are welcome). F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred (training provided if needed).
Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools for daily workshop repair tasks.
