What You’ll Be Doing
- Servicing & Maintenance: Carrying out full and interim servicing, exhaust repairs, suspension work, and general mechanical overhauls on cars, vans, and larger vehicles.
- MOT Testing & Inspection: Conducting DVSA MOT tests and pre-MOT preparation across multiple vehicle classes to strict quality standards.
- Diagnostics & Fault Finding: Utilizing modern diagnostic platforms to identify and fix complex mechanical and system faults accurately.
- Quality Assurance: Upholding Right First Time standards, maintaining a tidy workstation, and collaborating effectively with the service team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, or MOT Tester (independent or main dealership background).
- Strong working knowledge of vehicle servicing, mechanics, and exhaust repairs (an active MOT Smart Card is a major plus).
- Great attention to detail, strong fault-finding habits, and genuine pride in work quality.
- A full UK driving licence.
