Your Role
As a core Vehicle Technician in our Cardiff team, you will:
- Maintenance & Repair: Carry out routine servicing, mechanical maintenance, and repairs to the highest trade standards.
- Engine & Timing Work: Perform vital mechanical duties, including hands‑on experience handling engine work, timing belts, and timing chains.
- Diagnostics: Use advanced, state-of-the-art multi-brand diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify complex electrical and mechanical faults.
- MOT & Safety: Complete thorough vehicle health checks (VHC) and safety‑critical, MOT‑related repairs.
- Technical Quality: Maintain high efficiency and 'right first time' standards to ensure unbeatable local customer service.
What You Need
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance, City & Guilds, or equivalent experience.
- Technical Skill: Strong all‑around mechanical knowledge with practical experience changing timing belts and chains.
- Tools & Kit: Must possess your own comprehensive set of professional hand tools.
- Licensing: A valid UK driving licence is essential.
