We are looking for a driven, highly skilled VAG Technician or Master Tech in the making to join our rapidly expanding, state-of-the-art workshop facilities in the heart of Cardiff. The Rewards

  • Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 per year (Industry-leading pay plan based on experience and accreditations).
  • Schedule: 5 days per week, 08:30 AM – 17:00 PM (with a half-hour lunch break).

Your Role

As a core VAG Diagnostic Technician in our Cardiff team, you will:

  • Advanced Diagnostics: Use specialist manufacturer tools to identify, investigate, and rectify complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical vehicle faults.
  • Mechanical & Electrical Repair: Carry out advanced technical repairs, chassis work, system updates, and safety-critical maintenance to precise brand standards.
  • Servicing: Perform full vehicle health checks, safety inspections, and high-quality routine maintenance.
  • Innovation & EV: Deal with cutting-edge automotive tech, including advanced systems, hybrid powertrains, and electric vehicles.
  • Technical Quality: Maintain strict "right first time" repair standards to maximize workshop efficiency and deliver complete customer satisfaction.

What You Need

  • Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent). Holding an HVT Level 3 (High Voltage Technician) accreditation is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Technical Skill: Strong diagnostic, testing, and mechanical repair skills, with solid experience working to VAG (Volkswagen Audi Group) equivalent standards.
  • Licensing Requirements: A full, valid UK driving licence is required.
  • Attributes: A passionate, reliable, and driven technician who takes true pride in technical accuracy and enjoys working in a fast-growing dealership team.
