The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Mechanical and electrical repairs
- Vehicle inspections and health checks
- Repair and replacement of vehicle components
- Working to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Using modern diagnostic equipment
- Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and efficiency
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Level 2 candidates with relevant workshop experience will be considered
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Good mechanical and electrical repair knowledge
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
- Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
