The role

You'll carry out servicing, maintenance, mechanical repairs and diagnostic fault finding across a varied range of vehicles.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
  • Mechanical and electrical fault finding
  • Advanced vehicle diagnostics
  • Diagnosing and resolving complex faults
  • Using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Following technical information and manufacturer repair procedures
  • Completing job cards and repair reports
  • Identifying required parts and additional work
  • Tyre fitting and 4-wheel alignment
  • Completing all work safely and to a high standard
  • Supporting the wider workshop team

About you

We're looking for a technician who enjoys diagnostics, problem solving and quality workmanship.

You'll ideally have:

  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Technology, or equivalent
  • 3+ years' workshop experience
  • Strong mechanical and technical knowledge
  • Confident diagnostic and electrical fault-finding skills
  • Experience working with modern vehicle systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable experience

  • MOT Tester qualification
  • VAG Group experience
  • Advanced diagnostic and electrical fault finding
  • 4-wheel alignment experience
