Are You Working on the Wrong Cars? Step Into Automotive Heaven!

If you’re a skilled Vehicle Technician tired of modern plastic engine covers, soul-crushing main-dealer targets, and endless routine servicing on everyday road cars, this is your sign to make a change.

We are a premier, established independent specialist for classic, sports, and prestige vehicles—specialising heavily in Lotus, Caterham, classic Porsche, vintage Volkswagens, and rare British heritage marques.

This is a true Classic Car Technician role. You’ll get to use real mechanical skill, craftsmanship, and diagnostic problem-solving on classic, twin-cam, turbocharged, and lightweight sports platforms that most mechanics only ever dream of working on.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

  • Dream Workshop Inventory: Work hands-on as a specialist Sports Car Technician with classic Lotus Elans, Esprits, Elise models, Caterham 7s, vintage Air-Cooled VWs, and classic sports cars.
  • Great Pay: Competitive £35,000 – £45,000 salary based on your technical skillset and experience.
  • Work-Life Balance: Monday to Friday only—enjoy your weekends completely off!
  • No Dealer Target Stress: No stopwatches, corporate quotas, or rushed assembly-line work. Quality craftsmanship comes first.
  • Family Culture: Join a passionate, supportive, and established family business where you are treated with respect and given room to work.
  • Great Company Perks: Company pension scheme, employee vehicle perks, provided uniform, and free on-site parking.

The Role

Working on a wide variety of rare classic and performance cars, your days as our Senior Vehicle Technician will involve:

  • Mechanical servicing, tuning, and meticulous maintenance on classic sports cars.
  • Deep mechanical fault-finding, carb adjustments, and auto-electrical troubleshooting.
  • Engine overhauls, gearbox repairs, suspension setups, and component rebuilds.
  • Pre-delivery inspections and mechanical health checks for showroom inventory.
  • Crafting custom solutions and preserving classic vehicle engineering to the highest standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Experienced Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or Classic Car Specialist with strong mechanical fault-finding ability.
  • Skillset: Solid knowledge of classic engines, twin carbs, classic ignition systems, or lightweight sports car mechanics (Lotus/Caterham experience is a huge plus!).
  • Passion: A genuine love for sports cars, classic motoring, and proper craftsmanship.
  • Licence: Full UK Driving Licence.
