As a Vehicle Technician / Motor Vehicle Technician, you will:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Complete vehicle inspections and health checks
- Carry out MOT preparation and repair work
- Work on cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs)
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship
- Ensure accurate completion of job cards and workshop documentation
- Support a clean, safe and professional workshop environment
To be successful, you'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Service Technician, or Car Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Experience working on modern vehicle systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
