Your Role

As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our busy Camberley service centre, you will:

  • Perform all aspects of light vehicle servicing, preventative maintenance, and mechanical repairs.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical faults, utilizing up-to-date diagnostic scanners and workshop tooling.
  • Support the MOT testing team by carrying out necessary repair work on failed vehicles to high trade standards.
  • Complete digital job sheets accurately, manage your dedicated ramp space, and collaborate closely with the team of 5 technicians.
  • (Optional) If qualified, conduct statutory Class 4 MOT inspections efficiently and accurately to DVSA standards.

What You Need

  • Qualifications: Industry-recognized automotive qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent time-served experience).
  • Experience: Proven track record conducting vehicle servicing, fault diagnostics, and mechanical repairs within a busy workshop or garage setting.
  • Licensing: A full UK driving licence is required. An active, valid DVSA MOT Tester licence is preferred but not essential.
  • Key Strengths: Strong organizational skills, high attention to safety detail, own tools, and a reliable, positive work ethic.
