The Role
As an MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician, you will:
- Carry out Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations
- Complete MOT documentation accurately
- Identify vehicle faults and safety‑related defects
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Conduct vehicle inspections and health checks
- Maintain high workshop and safety standards
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Work independently and as part of a professional team
Requirements
- Valid Class 4 MOT Tester Licence
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent preferred)
- Previous experience as an MOT Tester, Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
- Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Reliable, professional and team‑focused approach
