The Role

As an MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician, you will:

  • Carry out Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations
  • Complete MOT documentation accurately
  • Identify vehicle faults and safety‑related defects
  • Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and health checks
  • Maintain high workshop and safety standards
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Work independently and as part of a professional team

Requirements

  • Valid Class 4 MOT Tester Licence
  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent preferred)
  • Previous experience as an MOT Tester, Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
  • Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Reliable, professional and team‑focused approach
