We're looking for a skilled Diagnostic Technician to join our growing independent Volkswagen Group (VAG) specialist workshop. The Role
As our Diagnostic Technician, you'll play a key role within the workshop, diagnosing complex faults and carrying out repairs to the highest standard. Your work will include:
- Advanced vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
- Electrical and mechanical diagnosis and repair
- Engine management and drivability diagnostics
- Servicing and maintenance
- Repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards
- Using OEM diagnostic equipment and technical information
- Supporting other technicians with technical issues
- Carrying out quality control checks
- Delivering first-time fixes through accurate diagnosis

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys solving technical problems. Ideally you’ll have:
- Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician, Vehicle Technician, Master Technician or Senior Technician
- Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience working on Volkswagen, Audi, BMW or Škoda vehicles
- Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic knowledge
- Experience using dealer-level diagnostic equipment (preferred)
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- A positive attitude and strong team ethic
