Your Role
As a vital MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician in our Bristol workshop, you will:
- Carry out official MOT tests in strict accordance with current DVSA guidelines.
- Perform mechanical repairs, routine vehicle servicing, safety checks, and brake overhauls.
- Use dedicated specialist diagnostic systems to troubleshoot technical, electrical, and mechanical faults accurately.
- Maintain high workshop standards, delivering precise, safe "first-time fix" results.
What You Need
- Qualifications & Experience: Minimum NVQ / IMI Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification) is required. Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, or MOT Tester. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
- Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred, but fully funded training is provided for experienced Level 2/3 technicians.
- Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools for daily repair work.
- Key Strengths: Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work well within a close-knit team.
