What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out routine servicing, scheduled maintenance, and vehicle health checks to strict manufacturer standards.
- Supporting Senior Technicians with core mechanical repairs, including brakes, suspension setups, timing belts/chains, and clutches.
- Learning to utilize modern diagnostic equipment to locate, trace, and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Ensuring all maintenance and repair work strictly adheres to safety compliance and right‑first‑time quality standards.
- Maintaining accurate job cards and collaborating smoothly with service advisors and workshop controllers.
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time‑served experience).
- Hands‑on mechanical experience inside a dealership, fast‑fit center, or independent garage.
- Eagerness to learn, strong mechanical aptitude, and pride in clean, accurate workmanship.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence.
