What You’ll Be Doing
- Servicing & Maintenance: Conducting routine servicing, multipoint vehicle health checks, brake servicing, tire fitting, and fluid changes across modern vehicles.
- MOT Prep & Shadowing: Preparing vehicles for MOT tests and shadowing active testers as part of your DVSA training pathway.
- Diagnostics & Repairs: Using modern diagnostic tools to isolate and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Component Work: Carrying out general mechanical repairs, suspension work, brake system overhauls, and minor component fitting.
- Documentation & Safety: Keeping accurate service records and collaborating closely with service advisors and workshop peers.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a workshop environment (independent garage, fast-fit center, or main dealer).
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- A great attitude, pride in work quality, and a desire to gain your MOT license and EV credentials.
- A full UK driving licence.
