Pay & Benefits
- Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (tailored directly to technical experience and skill level)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Guaranteed core weekday stability with optional weekend overtime to boost earnings)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our highly respected workshop team in Bridgend. You will perform routine inspections, servicing, major mechanical repairs, diagnostic troubleshooting, and maintain high standards to consistently deliver clean "first-time fix" results.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair with proven workshop experience
- Full UK driving licence & own hand tools
- Active MOT Tester licence (Class 4/7) is preferred, but not essential
- F-Gas certification is preferred (or interest in obtaining it)
- Strong diagnostic skills, high attention to detail, and a practical problem-solving mindset

- Road Links: Strategic position directly served by the M4 corridor (J35 & J36) and key A-roads, offering fast daily commutes across South Wales
- Public Transport: Excellent connections via Bridgend mainline station alongside regular regional bus routes
