Your Role

As our core Garage Manager in our Wiltshire team, you will:

  • Department Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop our skilled team of vehicle technicians, car mechanics, and service desk staff.
  • Workshop Efficiency: Drive workshop productivity, technician utilisation, labour performance, and daily workshop loading.
  • Financial Management: Maximise departmental profitability, monitor KPIs, and control Work in Progress (WIP).
  • Customer Journey: Deliver a premium, seamless customer experience from booking through to vehicle collection.
  • Compliance: Oversee manufacturer recall programmes, parts warranty processes, and overall health & safety compliance.

What You Need

  • Experience: Previous experience as an Automotive Service Manager, Aftersales Manager, Workshop Controller, or Senior Service Advisor.
  • Leadership Skill: A proven track record of motivating teams, improving culture, and driving performance.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong financial awareness with a focus on delivering workshop targets, MOT compliance, and customer retention.
  • Licensing: A full UK manual driving license is essential.
