The Role
As an MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of vehicle safety and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations
- Inspecting vehicles accurately and professionally
- Identifying, recording and explaining vehicle defects and advisory items
- Ensuring full compliance with DVSA testing procedures
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs where qualified
- Completing vehicle health checks and workshop documentation
- Working closely with the workshop team to maximise efficiency
- Maintaining excellent standards of workmanship and customer service
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- A valid Class 4 MOT Tester Licence
- Previous experience as an MOT Tester, Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Service Technician, or Car Mechanic
- Good understanding of DVSA regulations and MOT testing procedures
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A professional, reliable and team-focused attitude
- Full UK driving licence
