The Role

As an MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of vehicle safety and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations
  • Inspecting vehicles accurately and professionally
  • Identifying, recording and explaining vehicle defects and advisory items
  • Ensuring full compliance with DVSA testing procedures
  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs where qualified
  • Completing vehicle health checks and workshop documentation
  • Working closely with the workshop team to maximise efficiency
  • Maintaining excellent standards of workmanship and customer service

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A valid Class 4 MOT Tester Licence
  • Previous experience as an MOT Tester, Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Service Technician, or Car Mechanic
  • Good understanding of DVSA regulations and MOT testing procedures
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A professional, reliable and team-focused attitude
  • Full UK driving licence
