Your Role
As a vital member of our Barry technical team, you will:
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing, brake overhauls, clutch replacements, timing belts, and general mechanical repairs.
- Utilize modern diagnostic equipment to accurately troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and engine management faults.
- Maintain high standards of work to ensure reliable "first-time fix" results and high workshop productivity.
- Work collaboratively as part of a skilled team to keep workflow smooth and uphold customer trust.
What You Need
- Qualifications & Experience: NVQ / IMI Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served experience). Proven track record as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic in a professional workshop setting. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
- Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
- Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools; bring high attention to detail, strong fault-finding abilities, and a reliable work ethic.
