Your Role
As a vital Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester in our Bristol workshop, you will:
- Carry out official MOT tests strictly in accordance with current DVSA guidelines.
- Perform routine vehicle servicing, safety checks, mechanical repairs, and braking overhauls.
- Use dedicated specialist diagnostic systems to troubleshoot technical, electrical, and mechanical faults accurately.
- Maintain high workshop standards, delivering precise, safe "first-time fix" results across a wide variety of vehicles.
What You Need
Qualifications & Experience: NVQ / IMI Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a professional workshop. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential. Active MOT Tester licence is preferred, but fully funded DVSA training is provided for experienced technicians.
Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools for daily repair work. Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality workmanship, and a collaborative team attitude.
