Your Role
As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our high-tech Andover bays, you will:
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing, multi-point safety inspections, and high-quality mechanical maintenance.
- Complete vital chassis, steering, suspension, braking system, tyre fitting, and exhaust work.
- Utilize advanced workshop diagnostic tools and scanners to systematically troubleshoot, investigate, and repair mechanical and electronic faults.
- Keep digital job cards updated and collaborate productively with a friendly service team to maintain a smooth workshop flow.
What You Need
- Qualifications: Fully qualified with an industry-recognized Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent). F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
- Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a busy workshop, garage, or fast-fit setting.
- Licensing: A full UK driving licence is required. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not essential.
- Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools to manage daily repair tasks effectively.
- Key Strengths: A dedicated work ethic, strong problem-solving skills, and a genuine passion for expanding your diagnostic and fault-finding expertise.
