What we offer
- £40,000–£45,000 basic salary depending on experience and ability.

The role
You’ll be carrying out a varied range of mechanical work, including:
- Vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
- Fault‑finding, diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Major mechanical repairs and component replacements.
- Rebuilds, restoration work and specialist projects.
- Engine, transmission and drivetrain‑related work, where required.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a consistently high standard.
You’ll have the opportunity to use your initiative, solve problems and see jobs through to completion, working both independently and alongside a small, experienced team.
What we’re looking for
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or similar.
- Strong practical mechanical skills and fault‑finding ability.
- Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
- A reliable, proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a small team.
Desirable:
- Experience with complex repairs, rebuilds or restoration projects.
- Knowledge of engines, transmissions and drivetrain systems.
- Experience working in an independent, specialist or premium workshop.
Above all, we want someone who cares about quality, takes responsibility for their work and enjoys being a mechanic.
Working hours
- Days: Monday to Friday.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Start and finish times: Flexible by agreement.
