Pay & Benefits
- Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 guaranteed basic per annum + £1,000 guaranteed Christmas bonus!
- Hours: Monday to Friday, standard workshop hours — STRICTLY NO WEEKENDS
- Perks: 28 days holiday allowance, workplace pension scheme, free/discounted parts, and use of workshop facilities for personal car repairs during working hours
- Work-Life Quality: Major physical jobs (such as clutches) are always completed in two-man pairs to prevent strain, with all workshop bookings strictly managed 6 weeks in advance for zero daily chaos
- Workload: High-quality VAG work—routine servicing, timing belts/chains, brakes, suspension, and diagnostic fault-finding on Audi, Volkswagen, SEAT, and Skoda vehicles (no long, grueling engine rebuilds)

Role Overview
Seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician or Mechanic to handle routine servicing, timing chains, diagnostic troubleshooting, and general mechanical repairs across modern VAG group vehicles in a clean, high-spec independent workshop.
Requirements
- Proven track record in mechanical diagnostics, timing belts/chains, and core mechanical maintenance.
- VAG specialist experience is a bonus, but NOT essential—solid mechanical skill, a good attitude, and attention to detail are what matter most!
- Quality-first mindset with pride in clean, accurate workmanship.
- Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.
Location & Commute
- Base: Maidstone area (Free secure on-site parking)
- Road Links: Conveniently positioned with fast access off the M20 and local Kent transport links.
- Commutable From: Maidstone, Aylesford, Bearsted, Medway (Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham), Tonbridge, Kings Hill, and West Malling.
