What You'll Be Doing
- Vehicle Servicing: Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance to manufacturer specifications.
- Mechanical Repairs: Working on brakes, suspension, clutches, engines, exhausts and other vehicle components.
- Diagnostics & Fault Finding: Identifying faults and resolving mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
- Vehicle Inspections: Assessing vehicle condition and identifying additional repairs where necessary.
- Quality Control: Ensuring all repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Workshop Standards: Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Working alongside colleagues to ensure vehicles are completed efficiently and customers receive excellent service.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Car Mechanic.
- Relevant automotive qualifications, ideally NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and practical repair experience.
- Competent in vehicle diagnostics and fault finding.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence.
