Your Day-to-Day
Working as a core member of our technical team in Weston-super-Mare, you will:
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing, tyre replacement, braking system maintenance, and general mechanical repairs.
- Utilize up‑to‑date diagnostic tools to efficiently fault‑find and resolve technical and electrical issues.
- Maintain high-quality "first‑time fix" results while adhering strictly to safety guidelines.
- Work productively to complete repairs accurately and keep the workshop operating smoothly.
- Collaborate with a skilled team of mechanics to uphold our high standards of fast, reliable customer service.
What You Bring to the Table
Qualifications & Experience: Proven track record working as a Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, or Service Specialist in a busy workshop setting. NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 preferred, though time‑served technical experience is also considered. F‑Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
The Skills: Strong working knowledge of general vehicle servicing, major mechanical components, tyre replacement, and diagnostics.
The Credentials: A full UK driving licence is essential. Having an active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
The Mindset: A reliable, self‑motivated professional with good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
