What You’ll Be Doing
- Servicing & Maintenance: Carrying out routine vehicle servicing, safety inspections, and general maintenance across a diverse range of makes and models.
- Mechanical Repairs: Executing core repair work including brakes, suspension, clutches, exhausts, and major component fitting.
- Diagnostics & Fault Finding: Using modern diagnostic equipment to trace, isolate, and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
- Quality Control: Maintaining high “Right First Time” work standards, keeping your bay tidy, and adhering to strict workshop safety rules.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or proven time-served portfolio).
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic in an independent garage or dealership setting.
- Strong diagnostic habits, efficiency mindset, and pride in clean, accurate work.
- A full UK driving licence.
