Salary: Β£35,000 – Β£40,000 basic salary (Tailored directly to experience & qualifications)

Location: Beckenham Area (Free secure parking)

Hours: Monday – Friday (08:00 – 18:00) + Flexible Saturdays on rota (Alternate or 1 in 3, 08:00 – 14:00)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Servicing & Maintenance: Carrying out routine vehicle servicing, safety inspections, and general maintenance across a diverse range of makes and models.
  • Mechanical Repairs: Executing core repair work including brakes, suspension, clutches, exhausts, and major component fitting.
  • Diagnostics & Fault Finding: Using modern diagnostic equipment to trace, isolate, and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Quality Control: Maintaining high β€œRight First Time” work standards, keeping your bay tidy, and adhering to strict workshop safety rules.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or proven time-served portfolio).
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic in an independent garage or dealership setting.
  • Strong diagnostic habits, efficiency mindset, and pride in clean, accurate work.
  • A full UK driving licence.

  • West Wickham & Bromley: 5–10 mins
  • Crystal Palace & Sydenham: 10–12 mins
  • Catford & Croydon: 15 mins
  • Orpington & Hayes: 15–20 mins
