The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a wide variety of prestige, performance and classic vehicles. Your responsibilities will include:
- Vehicle servicing and scheduled maintenance
- Mechanical repairs
- Engine diagnostics and fault finding
- Electrical diagnostics
- Suspension, steering and braking repairs
- Engine and drivetrain repairs
- Clutch and gearbox work
- Timing belt and timing chain replacement
- Using advanced diagnostic equipment
- Maintaining accurate job records
- Ensuring every repair is completed to manufacturer and company standards
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being a technician and takes pride in their workmanship.
Essential
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Car Mechanic
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Excellent mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience working on prestige, performance, luxury or classic vehicles
- Experience with Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati or Alfa Romeo
- MOT Tester qualification
- Experience using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
