Your Role

As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our active workshop near Tewkesbury, you will:

  • Carry out routine vehicle servicing, safety inspections, component replacements, and general mechanical repairs across a wide variety of makes and models.
  • Use up-to-date diagnostic tools and scanners to efficiently troubleshoot technical, electrical, and mechanical faults as a Diagnostic Specialist.
  • Deliver high-quality, "first-time fix" results to maintain our trusted regional reputation.
  • Work productively alongside a skilled, down-to-earth technical team to keep the workshop operating safely and smoothly.

What You Need

  • Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent). F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
  • Experience: A proven track record working as a Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, or Service Specialist in a professional workshop environment.
  • Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not essential.
  • Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools to manage daily repair and diagnostic tasks effectively.
  • Key Strengths: A reliable, self-motivated professional with great attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a positive team player attitude.
