Are you an experienced mechanic looking for a rewarding full-time role with an exceptional work-life balance? We are recruiting a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join a well-established independent workshop in Poole following the retirement of a long-serving team member after 20 years.

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 6:00pm (45 hours) — Strictly NO Weekends & NO Bank Holidays!

What you will be doing:

  • Carrying out general mechanical repairs, routine servicing, and thorough vehicle inspections.
  • Performing major mechanical repairs including brakes, clutches, suspension, cambelts, and timing chains.
  • Conducting diagnostics and fault-finding using modern workshop equipment.
  • Supporting a busy workflow to maintain our high standard of customer service.

Requirements:

Solid hands-on mechanical skill and practical experience are key (qualifications are preferred, but practical ability is highly valued).

Commutable Locations: This role is based in Poole, making it an easy commute from Bournemouth, Christchurch, Wimborne, and Ferndown.
