Your Role

As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Newport workshop, you will:

  • Carry out routine servicing, manufacturer safety inspections, and general mechanical maintenance.
  • Use high-spec diagnostic tools to systematically troubleshoot and resolve technical, electrical, and mechanical faults.
  • Follow structured repair processes to deliver clean, safe "first-time fix" results.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team to keep the workshop running smoothly across a wide range of vehicles.

What You Need

Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance with proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).

Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.

Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools for daily workshop repair tasks.
