What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing routine vehicle servicing, multi‑point safety inspections, and scheduled maintenance.
- Executing core mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, clutches, steering overhauls, and timing belts.
- Utilizing modern diagnostic tools to trace and resolve mechanical and light electrical issues efficiently.
- Maintaining detailed service records and communicating clearly with workshop service advisors.
- Keeping a clean, safe, and well‑organised workshop environment.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 / City & Guilds qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent time‑served experience).
- Proven hands‑on technician experience within an independent garage or dealership setting.
- Strong logical fault‑finding ability and pride in clean, honest workmanship.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence.
