We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our independent service centre team in Haslemere. Moving away from rigid corporate pressures, we offer a £35,000–£40,000 basic salary (within our £35k–£45k package depending on experience), permanent Monday-to-Friday hours (strictly no weekends), and full company-funded MOT Tester training.

Your Role
As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Haslemere workshop, you will:
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing, scheduled maintenance, and safety inspections across a diverse range of vehicles.
- Tackle all aspects of mechanical repairs, ranging efficiently from light servicing to heavy component replacements (clutches, cambelts, suspension, etc.).
- Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to systematically troubleshoot, isolate, and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Complete digital job cards accurately and collaborate with the workshop team to maintain a smooth daily workflow.
What You Need
Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair with a proven track record handling light servicing through to heavy mechanical work. F-Gas certification is preferred.
Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required (full training provided).
Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools for daily workshop repair tasks.
